Be Enriched is pleased to announce our partnership with Dr Chintal, of Dr Chintal’s Kitchen, an NHS GP and foodie that shares quick, easy, and nutritious recipes for families on her blog.
As a patron of Be Enriched, Chintal will be conducting cooking demonstrations in our Tooting Canteen and sharing easy and healthy cooking techniques and recipes with the community.
We are grateful for Dr Chintal’s support and look forward to seeing what she creates with our community!
Hello, I am Chintal, a doctor, a passionate home cook and foodie.
I come from an Indian background where the kitchen has always been the heart of the home. From cooking together to daily conversations over the kitchen worktop I believe food connects people on all levels. In my opinion, food doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated to be healthy and delicious.
I have a keen interest in educating around healthy eating and nutrition. I write a healthy recipe blog and @drchintalskitchen on Instagram and Facebook and run cooking & nutrition workshops for adults and children. In doing so, I hope to encourage more conversations around healthy eating at all ages.
I am honoured to be asked to be a patron for Be Enriched. As a London GP for over 12 years, I have witnessed first-hand how isolated and vulnerable some of my patients can be. I love the ethos of the charity connecting people via healthy food. I volunteer in the Be Enriched community canteens and really enjoy my conversations with those that attend; the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and it is wonderful to experience the community spirit connections made through food.
I hope together with Be Enriched we can help even more connections to grow and flourish over a delicious healthy meal.
