We are looking for a Bus driver required to drive a double decker bus in order to transport fresh produce from one place to another. The role holder will be responsible for the safety and comfort of their the bus team and guests while they travel on bus. They will travel on set routes, making 1-2 scheduled stops a day. The bus driver’s role is also to work in partnership with other members of the Wandsworth Food Partnership team, helping them achieve the aims of the Food Bus and Food Poverty alliance; and to optimize the relationships with the community.

Required qualifications
Bus Driver applicants need to have a PCV license and a full UK driving license first.
Drivers must be over 21 years old and have a clean driving history.

Desirable
Experience of completing bus checks from picking up buses from the Depot
Certificates of Professional Competence with CPD training hours
NVQ’s related to coach and bus industry.

We need 2 volunteer Santas to really bring Christmas to our canteens! If you’re jolly, a great entertainer, and are happy to work with a wide range of people to provide some Christmas magic to vulnerable people, then this role might be for you.

Main tasks and activities include:
  • Being Santa;
  • Providing Christmas cheer during your kitchen session;
  • Handing out presents to lunch guests;

Skills and experience required:
  • Own costume required;
  • Good with people;
  • Good communicator and entertainer;
  • Previous experience of being Santa an asset;
  • Experience of dealing with vulnerable adults a bonus.

Over 8 million people across the UK, go hungry every day. Do you want to be part of the fight against food poverty that is devastating lives and futures of adults and children alike?

Be Enriched helps people struggling with access to services they need, social isolation and hunger. We do this by running a series of regular projects and offering training opportunities that give people food, the chance to learn cooking skills and build community. Last year over 3,000 people benefited from our projects.


The Volunteer Coordinator Intern will be working with the Volunteer Manager in our Brixton office for 2-3 days a week, assisting with administrative duties in volunteer management. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous office experience, and there may be further opportunities for additional paid work within the organisation.

Main tasks and activities include:
  • Administrative duties and assistance;
  • Dealing with both outgoing and incoming telephone and email queries;
  • Assistance in volunteering session management;
  • Visiting our canteen sessions and speaking with volunteers;
  • Other duties as required by the Volunteer Manager.

Skills and experience required:
  • Some previous administrative experience required;
  • Copywriting and editing experience;
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word;
  • Familiarity with event management, Eventbrite experience a bonus;
  • Ability to work independently in a professional manner.

Be Enriched helps people struggling with access to services they need, social isolation and hunger. We do this by running a series of regular projects and offering training opportunities that give people food, the chance to learn cooking skills and build community. Last year over 3,000 people benefited from our projects.

As an intern, you will work alongside our Partnerships Manager and Volunteer co-ordinator from our Brixton office to help support communications and events activities across the organisation.
The role is 2 days a week for 3 months, with opportunities for additional paid work within the organisation.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Supporting development of the social media strategy and manage our social media presence across all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc)
Assisting with implementation of content schedules to produce or update content
Writing and editing engaging blog posts and articles
Creating engaging multimedia content such as videos
Learning to analyse analytics data to learn how users interact with our sites and platforms
Learning how to update information on the organisation's website
Communicating with colleagues and key stakeholders
Liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email
Researching and writing press releases to targeted media
Collating and analysing media coverage
Fostering community relations through supporting the team at events such as open days and through involvement in the community
